Kym has been working in the dental field since age 16. She has a passion for food, wine, fashion and travel and shares her experiences in a guide to travel and style blog.
As our treatment coordinator and financial and business specialist, Kym is our resident expert at coordinating benefits and how excellent care fits into your life. By taking time to listen, she will make sure you understand why and how you can get the care you deserve.

Karen has had the pleasure of improving people’s health for over 35 years. She started as an assistant and furthered her education to become a Registered Dental Hygienist. She is a skilled and insightful hygienist who is excited to use new and innovative methods to lead you to total health. She loves the diversity of each individual, finding new ways to provide quality, yet gentle care. Patients often compliment her thorough cleaning and evaluation skills.
Her hobbies are ballroom dancing, biking, hiking, and scrapbooking. She enjoys serving at her church and in the community, including dental clinics for the under-served population.

Heidi Jo is joined our team in 2021 and has been practicing dental hygiene for 17 years. Always active in her professional organization, she is a leader in the field. Meticulous, knowledgeable, curious and kind, Heidi Jo is passionate about helping patients achieve their optimal health goals. When not practicing, you will find her on a soccer field or off on a thrilling adventure.
NINJA Dental Assistant
Kim has been with Dr. Dowsett as an assistant for over twenty years. Throughout her career, Kim has developed incredible bonds with and skill in teaching, encouraging and empowering children in our practice. As the leader of our Learning and Smile Lab program, she has created a safe, fun and educational place for kids (and their caregivers!) to have a lifetime of healthy mouth and body.
She enjoys camping, hiking the Pacific Crest Trail and spending time with her family.

Robin began her dental health care journey in 2018 training as a dental NINJA. She is currently expanding her skills and knowledge in order to attend dental hygiene school. During her time away from the office she enjoys reading, sewing, watching the Philadelphia Eagles, and playing board games with her family. UPDATE!!! Robin has graduated from hygiene school and will be with us full-time!
NINJA Dental Assistant
Justin is our newest teammate! Justin is a Ninja Assistant who joined our team at the beginning of January. He is also part of a duo. He is Robin’s partner(She is our other Assistant) . Robin is working behind the scenes while attending hygiene school and Justin loves us so much that he moved on over and took her full-time position! We are so lucky to have him!

Patient Care/ Insurance Coordinator
Emily has been in the dental field since 2004—as an assistant, insurance coordinator, patient care coordinator and in administration. When not taking care of patients, she is busy being creative and enjoying nature. Passionate about helping others! She is originally from Florida and enjoys spending time with her husband and 17 year old son.
